Wow

1. I paid less for a New one let alone a used one Salvaged
2. Damage to the right front corner causes it to be totaled? Are we just not repairing new cars anymore.

Yeah buddy must be on glue LOL he'll be lucky to get 40K for a salvage title, regardless whether the car is in perfect condition or not.

What a dreamer. It's salvaged and he's trying to unload it at a ridiculous price.

I don't know it is California - he might get close to 50k...

That may have been the car that sold for $40K at a Copart auction.

Sketchy to not provide the damaged pics in the listing. If it was just fender damage, it probably wouldn't be salvage. But I'm betting the whole front corner bit it. Brakes, wheel, engine cooler, hood, whole front clip. It wouldn't surprise me if the car was striped to begin with and they were just removed to avoid buying new pieces.

If it was picked up for $40k, I wonder how many corners were cut to put it back together for $10-15k.

It had to be WAY more than the front corner. My '15 GT got wrecked on 3 corners and the entire front over $17k in damage and they didn't total it. I know the GT350 parts are more expensive but that had to be some excessive damage to total a $60k car...

Because the internet let's you list cars for free the prices asked for often have no basis in reality

This ought to be interesting to see how it pans out. I wish them nothing but the best on this sale but based on the ad, this seller might be in for a bit of an awakening.
