I was curious if anyone on here has purchased a Salvaged S550 GT350 and has rebuilt it for either daily driving, track or “flip” purposes?
If so, what has your experience been with sourcing the parts (GT350 specific or not) needed to getting the vehicle fixed for drivability again? Are you also getting the parts from salvage yards, or going through Ford/LKQ?
What is your total “all in” cost after the repair (all in: includes initial cost of vehicle, parts and labor)?
If the title was branded “salvage”, did you run into any titling or insurance issues with your home state (IF the car was to be used on public roads again)?
