I see GT 350's, PP1's, CS all the time. Saw a Mach 1 once, a Bullitt once, older Cobras and GT500's but not an S550 GT500 that I can recall at least. Only Car guys/gals know my Bullitt is a Bullitt, most think it is an ECOBoost ;-)

PP2 owner and most have no idea what it is. It is very hard to ID from a GT. Only seen 500s / 350s in showroom waiting for the owner to haul it off (not driven away). Couple Bullitts. I wish the PP1/2 had a special badging. It is what it is.
PP2s are special. The wheel & tire package is like a badge in a cool way. But yea, casual car people don't recognize it. I have a feeling history will be kind to these cars. Maybe people not recognizing it will add to its lore in a way.

The only Black Bullitt I've ever seen was on the dealership lot in North Palm Beach, FL Bev Smith Ford. That was in early 2019. Since then, nothing. I think that black color option is awesome on that car.

That's when you set the exhaust to "track" and let err rip!

I see them all the time in Houston. One of my co-workers got one of the first Mach1's. Beautiful car... he doesn't drive it to work often, but when he first got it he did.

Actually, I'll say I haven't see a GT/CS. I think Texas buyers are a little averse to having the word "California" on anything we own.

So on the lighter side of things, I realized there are a bunch of S550 styles that I still have not seen driving in the wild. In fairness, I haven't attended any car shows, haven't attended any cars & coffee events, and haven't been to the track/drag strip in years. However, I am on the road daily in northern NJ, NYC area, and taken lots of road trips to FL and midwest. And to this day I still haven't seen a:

GT500 driving down the road (once saw one parked outside a restaurant)

GT350R EVER anywhere other than on a showroom floor

A Mach 1 (again only showroom)

A Bullitt (dealership lot, test drove one)

PP2 (owned 1 for over a year, and only saw 1 other briefly after mine was sold)

Is anyone else void of these car sightings in their daily life? I don't live under a rock. Is the NJ/NYC area just not the place for the specialty, daily driven top end Mustangs? I'm feeling cheated. Glad there's M6G and YouTube so I can voyeur vicariously.

p.s. I've fortunately seen about a half dozen or more GT350s and it's always exciting to see and HEAR that awesome car.
Same here in Fishers Indiana. But: I see plenty of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, McLarens, Porches ETC, But not a 500 or 350. Don't know where they are at except on You Tube. Lol

As far as I knew PP2 isn't a trim level, it is just a GT with add'l equipment. No?

I see all of them- GT500s, GT350s, Bullitt, PP2 everywhere

Just in my neighborhood alone (about 400 houses) multiple modified S550s, Hellcat, a few SS Camaros , Supercharged C6 ..and thats just the American Muscle

Yeah, it was an additional equipment package to the GT because it could be ordered in either trim levels but I think you could describe the later model 350 vs 350R similarly (same drivetrain but additional suspension/braking/cooling/wheels as part of the package). History and value have been kind to rare performance options so we'll see if it holds true with the PP2, especially if the less than 1500 units per year production numbers I've heard are halfway true.. Either way, it makes for good conversation.

I hope history is kind to Magne-Ride equipped PP1's.

This is only the 2nd GT500 (S550) I've seen in NJ since they came out. It stopped me in my tracks. These cars have a lot of presence. This one found a nice door ding free parking spot nestled between columns in a parking garage in Weehawken by the Hudson River. Recaros, handling pack I assume from the Gurney & wickers. Seeing this got me super excited for my 22 order.

I'm in the southern part of MN and rarely see even a Mustang GT (not that many lower model s550s either). I did see a mach 1 last year and know two guys close by who drive Shelbys (one GT350 and the other a GT500 CFTP). I'm always surprised that there aren't more out driving but it's not really a practical car for this part of the country...
What part of MN?
edit: my bad I totally read to fast and then just saw you said southern.

I've seen a couple Mustang GT's only one being a VERT just this spring. I have seen 3 different GT500's surprisingly in my area and the Duluth area isn't that huge. Have yet to see another Mach 1 and have seen a couple of ecoboosts around as well.

When I was working at a ford dealer we did have a GT350 for awhile but never seen one in the wild.
