Hey Kelly I just ordered the BK051 kit does it come with the 9/16" bolts needed for this?
It does not come with front through bolts, but it DOES come with the rear through bolts. In testing, which spanned 18+months we found that the rear bolts are the most susceptible to damage with diff insert or lockout kits.

Here are just a few pics I have compiled from issues:

Installed my upgraded bolts yesterday!

12.9 - 14mm and drilled and installed the 9/16-18 x 4.5 bolts.

I have the Steeda inserts and the 4.5" bolt length on the 9/16, seems like it is not enough( probably the Steeda's inserts are thicker)

Ordered some 5" to replace the bolts.

Torqued to 130 (should it be higher?)

130ftlbs should be just fine. That is what I use on my cars.

As for the 9/16" - yeah, theirs must be a little thicker. On our set-up, the 4.5" bolt is just about a perfect fit. Due to the vibrations on this part, I definitely suggest you going atleast 2.5 to .5 longer for sure.

When I get the car back on the road, I'm going to have to come see you Kelly!!

She's already sporting the Vertical Links, Cradle Lockouts and the Drag Springs, but I haven't made it into the bushings/hardware yet.

With the upgrade in power, going to a full slick, and having done the Ford Racing halfshafts and Dynotech 1pc driveshaft - we'll be needing the bushings/hardware I'm sure!!!!

Which ones?

Our kits all come with 10.9 Hardware, and our upgraded bolts are 12.9.

OE bolts are 10.9.
I installed the BK049 kit but it was an early kit that didn't have the through bolts you use when you drill out the threads on the diff. I want to install those through bolts so I am going to buy some but need the spec on them.
