Fronts are set in maybe 1/4" at the top, but some camber plates would fix that.

What offsets? They DO look great!

Finally got the car, but still waiting on tires. SOOON, I hope! Cleaned the PP spider webs today... GaWD! Can't wait until they're off the car. Look OK, but geez - getting the brake dust off the fronts!

That is all...

+40, for both I believe.

I had the same sentiment towards the PP wheels. Look decent, but way a ton and are a pain to keep clean. They attract more dust than the trunk panel.

Thanks! Looks like I'm gonna be livin' on the edge. Mine are 19x10 FS01's with a +35. Knew the PP wheels would be a PITA... ordered the wheels through Paul and had them WAY before the car.

Just got the car a little over a week ago, and cleaned the stockers today. Wasn't too bad with the brush I have to get the "spider webs" clean, but seems to be no way to get the barrels completely clean without removing the wheel. Ugh! Also, the front pads dust worse than a Beemer, or so it seems.

That is all...

Yeah, the dust is terrible. Even with my open spoke wheels, the wheel has to be removed to clean the barrel.

I think for me, it's maybe time to check into some other front pads. The gloss black FS01's shouldn't be as bad to clean though, and the color helps to "hide" the brake dust in the barrels. With the bronze though, looks like no way out other than takin' them off.

I will post some pics when (and if) my tires get here. Have a gratis set of Sport Comp2's coming, so I've got to be patient. Beggars can't be choosy. Thanks again for posting the offsets. I think when mine go on, they'll fit the definition of "flush".

That is all...

Mine are maybe a 1/4 inch set in. Once I correct the camber, they'll be flush.

That 1/4" a result of lowering springs?

That'll put me outboard another .200" from yours in front. I calculated they'd go outboard 7/8" from the PP fronts. Rears will be OK for sure. Measured this afternoon, And have 1-1/4" from the stock 9.5" PP rims with the 275 tire. I calculated they'll come outboard 15/16" from that.

I'm not sure dropping the car is in my future. Uphill driveway. Splitter misses scraping by about 1/2". Going to 275's in front will raise it about .3". All the springs I've looked at are 1" or better drop. Will know better once I get the wheels/tires mounted.

Yes, they should be perfectly flush once I install some camber plates.

MRR FS01 custom cut on order

19x10 23.45 lbs
19x11 22.05 lbs

MRR GF9 confirmed fitment for GT and GT PP

19x9.5 23.75 lbs
Wait a second, is that right? The cast version of the wheel is only 0.3 lbs. heavier than the flow-formed version? I realize that we're comparing a 10" to a 9.5", but I would have expected the cast GF9 to weigh in much higher than that.

I had a chance to weigh in the 19x8.5 GF9 and thats already at 24.5
so a 19x9.5 should be a little over.
on average depending on actual off set of wheel the weight in pounds can drop dramatically.

What made you decide to go with the 40 sidewall?

I am looking to do a 285/40 19 square setup on 10 inch MRR FS01's (the MRR's fit). The OEM front diameter is 27.1 inch and rear is 27.7. If I went square with the 40 sidewall on 285, the diameter of the front and rear now becomes 28 inches.

I prefer this option the most as it
1) keeps a nice amount of sidewall for DD'ing (instead of a 20 inch rim). 20 inch rims really ruin ride.
2) the tread width is large (especially with the PSS, MUCH larger than the 35 series tire in the 285 size!)
3) weight of the rim and fatter tire is still less than the 20 inch rim and 35 series tire
4) and when I lower the car, this will reduce half of the lowering in the front (I need the ground clearance) as most staggered kits do 1 inch in the front at least. (ex: FRPP track springs or BMR handling ones)
5) There is also a good selection of tires in this size. I can use Michelin PSS OR Michelin AS3's (my preference due to weather here). Unlikely to be discontinued as its not an especially rare size.

Handling might be slightly softer over the OEM with the larger sidewall and I'm not sure if this will look good and clear the front wheel wells (it should).

Other options I considered but didnt go for:
- 285 square with 35 sidewall. Diameter now goes down to 26.9 inches, which is a almost an inch drop in the rear and .2 inch drop in the front over OEM. This essentially kills my ability to go for stiffer lowering springs down the line. The pros are the tires weigh 2 pounds less a piece.

- 285 front and 305 rears, 35 sidewall. Choice is REALLY limited on tires for the rear. I think only Michelin PSS.

- 285 front and 305 rears, 40 sidewall. Tire rack has no options for the rear. I see you have the Nitto, which wont work for me.

- 285 front and 315 rear, 35 sidewall. Too much under steer risk in this configuration. Hardly any tire options.
