RTR Rocker Splitter question

I had splitters on my 2012 mustang, and the 3m tape failed relatively quickly, despite the fact I had used alcohol & the adhesion promoter.

Does anyone here have experiences with the RTR splitters on the S550, and how they hold up over daily-driving? They're next on my mod list, but I'm really unsure about the tape.

Would self tappers be a good idea to use in conjunction with the tape?

Curious to hear any feedback.

I currently have these on my car, the tap started to fall off since I daily drive mine through winter and summer. I just used about 6 screws for each side and have had no problems since then
