question, If i buy just the lights...do you think they will fit the MMD grille? seems like that portion of the grille is the same ?

This is an old post but will answer it so that anyone who comes through to this thread will know the answer.
RTR grille lights will definitely only fit the RTR grille of the same year. Even just looking at this MMD grille the vertical side of the triangular recess is angled outwards while the RTR vertical part is angled towards centre of the grille. Although sold separately or as a package, RTR lights won’t even fit the stock grille or any other after market grills.
