It's an auto, works fine, I'm using a 275/60/15 tire and the wheel is really a bit narrow, but I've been 1.36 60 ft , would prefer a wider wheel nut it's my only option unless I go to the aed spindles. I'm gonna try some 17s and see which works better.

What are you able to get the camber set to?
I'd love to hear how the 17's compare. Please keep me updated on that.

With the available rear camber products available, camber can be set to whatever you want. The only reason I can see going to the 15in setup is to meet a 275 requirement. Plenty of folks been 1.2x on a 17.

With a 15" wheel and not using the AED knuckle, getting to 0 or positive camber is an issue. That's why I asked what he was able to get his to.

What interference does the 15 in wheel have at 0deg?

This was test fitting for a different brand wheel, but show the typical interference points on the knuckle and lower control arm.

One side barely hit that lug on the lower arm, took me forever to find where it was hitting, still need to grind the lug off.

I bought the Steeda adjustable camber arms, I can set the camber to whatever I want really. I have it at Zero now. The car has Steeda rear drag springs so its lowered a bit. The rear tires stick out past the wheels well, the tread itself about 1/4" and the whole sidewall obviously more, but it dosent squat enough to hit, or if it is squatting enough the tire is going to the inside of the fender and not hitting.

Everyone says that people have gone 1.2 60 ft on 17s, so tired of hearing that. I went to a 15" wheel as there are way more tire choices and I feel that with more tire choices I can get down a marginal track or unprepped track better with a different tire.

In honesty I bought a set of 17" x 10" wheels and a set of Hoosier Radial slicks, I wanna try a wider wheel, the 15 x 9" on the 275/60 the wheel is just too narrow for my liking, its not laying flat. It also annoys me that with the 15" wheels, they stick out past the fender, im not much into looks of my car, but this does annoy me.

So we shall see which tire / wheel combo works better. I race a 4 cyl car and have to hit the tire much harder then you V8 guys to get the car to ET, I leave about 4k and 13 psi of boost, this nets mid to high 1.30 60 fts.

Got it. I understand now, thanks for the detailed explanation! I run slicks when track is marginal, if prep is there I'll swap to radial. Here is the fit of 17x10 with 28x10-17 Hoosier slick.

I hate to say it but to run a 15" wheel we really need to buy those AED spindles, but over 2k I cant justify at this time. It seems that the tires we need to run, or that fit well, we need a 10" wheel at minimum. I ran my 275/60s at 18 psi and the outer 2" of both sides was not even seeing a pattern, it actually looked like that part of the tire wasn't even being used. I probably can try and drop the tire psi to flatten it but im afraid the car will wonder too much, but that will be my next step on the 15" wheel combo.

On a side note it does look like I can cut about .200 off the flange of the wheel to create more backspace, but im gonna have to grind a few spots to do this. This will help the way the car looks but that's about all. Once I get the 17s on the car ill break down the 15" wheels and do that.

On another side note, I bought some of those 17" Weld Full Throttles and Hoosier 27.5 tires and they fit really nice and are super light, that combo was expensive but took almost 50 lbs off over Race Stars and Street M/T skinnies.
