Ford needs to bring back a rear-drive, 4 door sedan......think new LTD with 4 doors, 700HP and a 10-speed auto running 11 second quarter miles........with a mid $50K price point........they would sell every one they could make.

Where does it say that the full 5 year 60k mile warranty remains intact? I've only seen that a "new limited warranty" takes effect.
It's a 3/36 and backed by Ford Performance. Technically still not factory backed but closer than a supplemental.

One question most should ask, 700HP (flywheel) at 12psi is very, very low. That's 560RWHP and 488RWTRQ (@20% loss), 595/519 (@15%) with an auto. These cars are already showing 390-400RWHP stock with 10-speed. With this rating on 93 octane, which is a 5% boost over 91, is surprisingly low. 12psi should net 775RWHP on 93 octane. With a conservative cal, richer, less timing and small max rpm change, 725RWHP would still be easily attainable.

Very good point Whipple but traction ends up being an issue either way I suppose (700 at the crank or wheels).
