Any of ya'lls with that DON'T have the Roush install the hoodscoop? How was it? Kinda nervous drilling into my hood. Any tips? Do you guys like the hood? for $400 painted, that's not bad, imo. I kinda wish the hood was higher, I love hood scoops (my 03 and 07 GTs both had em!).

roush is dummy proof with template, if it's something you like go for it! I thought about it for a long time but I think i'd rather go cervini if i wanted to mess with the hood

I have no idea what this means, but I have the Roush hood scoop. I could care less if it's functional or not. The bottom line is that it looks better to me than not having it. The Cervini hood looks pretty damn good though and I may have gone that route if it was out at the time. I'm very impatient though and I still don't have regrets about it. :headbang:

You might also want to check out the MMD/Foose one (American Muscle website).
If I was to get one (and I'm still undecided) it would be the MMD one.

I don't like fake hood scoops, and I agree it isn't high enough. If you like it and are cool with the price tag then rock it:headbang:

Easy to install. Just take a big swig of something alcoholic and start watching the metal shavings fly.
This is how I install a lot of parts. But I always end up with leftover pieces.

Me too, with the leftovers  :headbonk:

I was freaking out when I thought I have a leftover header bolt after an entire bottle of Tyku Sake during my header install.

I love the scoop. My only gripe is that I wish it spanned the two creases on the hood completely like it does on a real Roush hood. The new Foose one spans that whole gap but I dunno if I'm feeling that little splitter thing. Aahhhhhh! I dunno what to do!

Have you seen the BMC Extreme Concepts 1 scoop? My gripe with the Roush and the Foose is the same as yours but the BMC one is the best of both worlds. If I do a scoop (still undecided) it will be the BMC.
