Roush Axle Back in Essex or South East

[UK GT]

Hi,

I used to have a GT with the FP Borla Sports exhaust with x-pipe, but sold it in 2016. Anyway I'm heading back to the GT, which I will be getting in a couple of weeks

The FP Borla Sports exhaust was a bit too loud on cold starts (6am start ups etc), so I am was looking at keeping the factory resonator and getting the Roush Axle back or similar...

I've watched videos similar to this, but videos never really pick up all the sound.

Does anyone in the South East or ideally Essex have a Roush Axle Back with standard resonator that I could listen to?

There’s a pair of Borla axle back silencers in the classifieds at the moment...

I’d guess that with a stock resonator they wouldn’t be to loud..

At less than half price, I’d give them a shot

Whereabouts in Essex are you ?

I have a 2016 with the Roush axle backs fitted, the rest of the exhaust system is standard.

I have 6am starts and have Roush axle backs.. and they're too loud. I mean, REALLY loud. I don't use the car at the moment for that reason.

I would agree with Enoch, they are a bargain and not as raspy as the Roush.

We're fitting Roush axle back systems on a regular basis (got two to do this week) and we're in Colchester so by all means come and see us and have a coffee and a listen.
