Perhaps before judging, take a second to realize that your opinion of what is most important in a DD is definitely NOT everyone else's.

RWD, MPG, cost of maintenance, etc. I also think trucks are awful daily drivers, but they're a hell of a lot better than a mustang (especially if they're a V6 AWD crew cab)
Truck is definitely more "practical". Toyota Yaris is both "practical" and "frugal". Late model Mustang, dedicated for Sunday drivers/track cars, not as frugal.

No matter how good it may be, there are much better options. Fast, loud, good handling, etc. are great attributes for an enthusiast/track car, but they have no impact on daily driving other than tempting you to get tickets on a daily basis. Tech is fine, but you can get the same tech in a much better DD car. Grinning is great, but you can do that just fine when you get home from work and see your baby in your driveway/garage, making you appreciate your time with the car FAR more. 15-16 MPG is abysmal when you can have a car getting 35-40. and sure, it can hold groceries, but like you said, it can't hold boxes and furniture, and there are options out there that could do that along with everything else I mentioned.
It's not an opinion on "what's better for a DD", its the fact that it's financially and ethically irresponsible (I.E. stupid) to knowingly pick a worse tool for your needs over a better option. No matter how much you like the feel of a screwdriver, picking one over a jackhammer to break up concrete is still a stupid decision.

Guys, I don't think you realize, I've been through the whole "mustang as a DD" thing. I DD'd a mustang for years while I lived in Germany. But now, looking back, it really was a dumb move on my part. I now have my 2018 as my sunday driver/track car, and have my ZX2, Focus, and my motorcycle to all split up my DD duties. If it's nice out, I take the bike, or if I'm really craving a drive, I take the mustang and enjoy the hell out of it (something I didn't experience during my time DDing a mustang). for anything else, I take either of my 2 cars that cost very little to maintain ($250 tires, $40 oil changes, etc.), get 40 MPG, ride comfortably, perform great in the snow, have most of the amenities of my mustang, and my ZX2 always puts a smile on my face.

Keep in mind, its usually more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow

Is the Focus ZX2 a manual ? Let me drive it, I bet I can get the avg MPG down below 20. If you are concerned about speeding tickets, you can program a MyKey set to 75 mph and carry that Mon-Fri, as there is no police out there on Sat / Sun to write you a speeding ticket.

Uhhhh on PSS? 295/303? Dayummz...
PP1 driver have columbian driver mod going?
They kinda frown on that.
I have seen 2-3 seconds difference on same GT350 just PSS vs SC2 at MSRH
285 up front (typo) and 305 in the rear. I have also added the GT350 springs because my cars has Magneride which is a huge improvement over the stock PP1 springs

It's a 2012 focus and a 2003 ZX2. It's actually pretty hard to get it that low, you have to be full throttle anywhere you go lol. And MyKey wouldn't stop me from doing 75 in a 35, or from launching from a stoplight (reckless endangerment), or getting a little sideways making a turn. I don't know where you live that police take weekends off, but that certainly isn't the case around here lol

You can set Waze to beep at you if you are doing X MPH over the speed limit. Such as 10 mph. I think it just beeps once and its not very loud, so its easy to ignore. Maybe there is a better phone app that will nag in a more effective manner. Escort Max 360c has over-speed limit alerts, but its expensive and I haven't bought one to try that.

I want to get a radar detector, but been spending money on mods instead lol. But even at that, that only helps with speeding. I've been pulled over for leaving a stoplight too hard before and I've been pulled over for my car being too loud, but luckily I managed to talk my way out of both of those (somehow). However, my first speeding ticket I ever got was in my mustang, and he didn't even give me a chance to talk my way out of it. He saw a younger dude in a mustang and said "he's getting a ticket" although I was only going 8 over ($350 ticket, in case you're wondering). I've NEVER been harassed like that in my Focus

I once got a couple of speeding tickets in a dark blue Geo. Each for roughly 12 mph over. Driving long distance, where there is nothing but tumbleweeds and a bored police officer. Running the stock exhaust might reduce attention and hassle.

Not necessarily, comp tires will last typically about 3000+ miles. That's no reason to be *forced* to buy a second set of wheels and tires. But even at that, buying some cheap 19x8s for "DD purposes" or whatever is MUCH cheaper than buying 19x11 wheels and 305 MPSC2s

It's not about "saving pussy", otherwise I wouldn't track my car. It's that you have to be retarded to think that a good daily will be one with bone jarring suspension, RWD, makes 17MPG, and has tires that last about 3000 miles, cost $1600 to replace, and are absolutely awful in rain or cold weather.

Mustang GTs are sunday drivers/track cars. If you buy one to daily it, then you need to re-evaluate your decision making ability
I love driving the GT, but my Pathfinder is a much better DD. Gets a little less MPGs, but the ability to see over most traffic and lack of blind spots makes it great. Also, the roads here are full of sh!t, as they hardly ever street sweep on the highway. With my SUV, I don't care if a truck chucks a rock up and chips my paint. With the stang, I obsess over every little chip or ding.
