Ripped the transmission out tonight at the strip. Recommendations on shops to build out one?

Looking for shops that build out a transmission rated for 1300 HP.

I am aware of PowerbytheHour and can google other big names.

Want some good feedback from people with experience if I can get it.

A10? I just had mine done by midnight in Houston, haven't got the car back yet.

Midnight has had some high hp cars with their trannys. They were local to me, made the decision easy. They do the additional clutches. Time will tell, hopefully mine holds. My end go.for the car is 1200ish; but waiting until I build the motor. Should be 900+ when I get the car back.

If you do not mind what did it run you and what is the tranny rated at HP wise? 10-speed auto or manual?

Price varies based on what’s done. I needed a new valve body and extras so your best bet is to call them. 3-4k for 1000Hp rated 10r80.

They make one now that that is pushing well over 1500whp without issue but I didn’t spring for it. My goals aren’t that lofty

Yea that seems reasonable. I am going for about 1300 or so. I will go ahead and have the trans built out more now rather than do it later.

I think with that and 1 more fuel pump I can push 1250+ with my current setup.

Going to sleeve the block most likely also.
