Well, I debated about posting this due to the whole “IHateCarbonWheels.com” crowd, but I would like to see who else may be having this issue as I’ve heard there may be more wheels doing this.

LR178, no damage to the wheel, no punctures. It has been doing it since purchase. Leaks down to 19 psi and no lower.

I'd have the dealer (or a shop with the right touch-free mounting equipment) check both the valve stem and the tire bead. Might be a small leak that seals up when partially deflated and "squished." One of my tires had a cut bead from mishandling when being mounted at the factory, and it went flat at 400 miles. Tire replaced under warranty.

I had a similar issue except it would leak down to 0. It was the valve stem where it seals to the wheel.

You are going to need a good tire shop or a trusting dealership to change tires anyways, now is a good time to find one to help with your current issue.
If it’s been happening from day one, have you called your dealership?

My Purchasing dealership is in TN and I am nowhere near them. I may have to take a ride down to Hilton Head to the dealership that knows these cars best of any locals.

You could try pumping it up and spraying it down with Refrigerant Leak Detector (Mega Bubble) it’s just a high viscosity soap. The bubbles will be Huge and Easy to see where it’s leaking. It can find the smallest of leaks.

Finding the leak should not be a problem, trusting someone to fix it may be.

Hunter Revolution is the tire changer you want. I just had to replace a tire on my car do to a nail. Not all Ford dealers have it though so you might have to do a little research.

Update...

tire stays inflated to 32-34psi when I drive the car daily. If it sits for 4 or more days it starts dropping.

Again, it never goes below 19 psi.

I was going to say this is likely the problem as well too. Bad valve stem... take it to DT where they have the CF Removal Tool by Hunters. Just make sure they use a new cup as their supposed to replace it after every use. If their working on a junk vehicle they'll reuse it but the tech working on yours may forget so just remind him. This alone costed a shop that I know $10,000 in replacing a race car's carbon fiber wheel they were working on.

And a valve stem gone bad would hold pressure while driving the car and lose pressure while it sits?

I'd do the soap bubble test. Another thought is that the stem isn't torqued down correctly. Look up the torque setting for the stem. The only thing holding the air in the wheel is a rubber washer on the valve stem. If the stem nut isn't tight, then i can see it leaking air.

Why it doesn't leak when you drive it? I would suggest heat. As things warm up, the stem seal expands and creates a better seal..... thats my guess.

Try tightening the stem.

See one of my spare wheels as an example

Check the torque setting. I can look it up later if you don't have the manual
