it has an engine!
Don't worry, she will get a Coyote dropped in, in the future. I can just swap motor mounts, cross-member and a new drive shaft, it's not too bad.
Im not worried. Its your car and you have to do what you like. But id have put in a 351w instead. The coyote is a great swap if its not a budget build.

I looked at the 351 option, but the 5.3 I got was $750.00 w/ 6mo warranty, trans 500.00 and the entire turbo kit was 800 The megasquirt I got from a friend for 1000.00. A good set of heads, intake and a solid carb on the 351 would be as much or more than I already have in the entire drive train (not including the cost of picking up a running motor or a motor I'd have to rebuild. These little 5.3.s will run 650hp at the crank all day long with the right tune and a good intercooler and all I did was change the valve springs.
In truth I really wanted a high strung 331 but for what I wanted to build i would have needed something like a Dart block.

I liked my 351w (man o war) stroked to a 408. It made bit over 650rwhp off spray plus a 250 shot. Carbed, magnum trans swap, 9 inch rear end. Hello 8s when you could stay in it. Low 9s on traction issues. It teetered. It could drag the bumper all day too. My build wasnt on a budget. Yours was though so i get it.

Jesus, what was the tq on your build after the spray?
I could go all out on the build, but the awesome exwife recently advised she wouldn't be paying a dime into our daughters college education (which I totally don't get, shes an honor roll student, an athlete, and plays a mean Bass guitar at 13yrs old). Shes got 4 years till shes off to college but I only have roughly a years tuition saved up. So, unfortunately I've now gotta pull "toy" funds over to a college fund. 4 years to save up for 3 years of college won't be fun, and I refuse to take a loan out if at all possible. Once the college fund is taken care of the budget gloves are off lol.
