When my car was in at gt101 recently, I spoke to David about retrofitting the cooler option from the mach one to standard GT's. I can't recall the exact reason why, but he's looked into it himself and says that it's just not possible to do it. I think it's something to do with the location of the mach one oil cooler rad that won't work on stock GT's.

I’m quite liking the sound of a hybrid style kit - Mach 1 RHD takeoff and Harrop style cooler location :

Today I installed a Harrop Oil Cooler.

It looks like it might provide a reasonably easy DIY fitment option with no need to remove the front bumper and plenty room left behind the front bumper (if it’s needed for other things) :like:

That’s on an American car, obviously you can mount the cooler there if you like on a U.K. car but I’m still not sure about the “Mach 1 take off”. I would love to see some pics of a U.K. one to see if it is set out the same. I don’t see that it can be as the right hand drive steering box is the reason they went to the effort of making the RHD oil manifold with rear cooler.

Yeah it’s an American car on that link, but Harrop is an Australian company and they do RHD kits :like:

To be fair, I heard about the Mach 1 take off from a MAP video and on the same video they mentioned the U.K. Mach 1 had a Torsen - we might be better if we wait for photos / confirmation from a U.K. owner before taking it as fact … :like:
