I just noticed they are using the 2015-17 turn signals + fog lights on the EU Specs. That's a shame, they should have gone for the nice LED one from the refresh. Having yellowish lightbulbs is really embarassing on such an expensive car

I believe the turn signals are shared with the GT350/GT500........but I suspect you're right in that they're also the same as the '15-'17 GT/EB version too

I would have understand that they are using the Shelby part for it. But that they really still have the pre-refresh EU turn signals anywhere or even are producing them again seems really weird to me.

If I would go for a Mach 1 the full LED switchback housing from Diode Dynamics feels like a must have now.

forget the lights just give us the damned price and packages that will be available.
I want to know if I should keep the MX5 and 330e or not.....

However the taxes are increasing even more next year in Sweden for fossil cars and the yearly road tax will be almost 4K EUR so I am not sure anymore. Just 16k in tax the first three year plus the depreciation is not good figures in anyones books.

I would think on the long run a GT4 would be a better deal financially

Reusing the 15-17 lights would make sense from the standpoint that they don’t have to be re-certified for lower volume cars such as the GT350/GT500/Mach 1. Looking at the design of the bumper, the measurement points for pedestrian safety probably match up with a 15-17/GT350/GT500/Mach 1 so they don’t need to any recertification on that as well. That may also be the limiting factor on the HP car with the chin spoiler as well.

I just heard that the EU Mach 1 is expected for late 2021. But take this with a huge grain of salt since that information is not coming for my usual trusted sources.
Late 2021 would be really disappointing, it means you get the car just when most likely Gen 7 will be revealed.

That's disappointing if true. Fingers crossed that timescale comes forward.

I'd expect to see S650 revealed Spring/Summer 2022, going on sale in late 2022, but that's still potentially only 6 months on from Mach 1 availability, if the above transpires.

Those rhd ones in the photos were sat in lines of different mustang types waiting to be loaded for final destination shipping by the looks of it. So where are they now? Mid Atlantic heading for uk / Africa? Pacific heading for Australia/NZ? Still dockside in the USA? Late 2021 would not be clever. They need to shift all the mustangs they can ASAP as incoming legislation and tax changes in the eu will make the coyote powered cars less attractive. Next mustang variant in the eu needs to be Bev or mild hybrid, not 5 litre V8 if they want to sell any. They are putting 2L hybrid 4 cylinder power trains in full sized Range Rovers these days to make them saleable! When it costs you £50,000 over 3 yrs to tax your new £50,000 ford it’s a lot less attractive on the showroom floor. A Ferrari or Rolls buyer can probably swallow the £50,000 over 3 yrs on top of their £200,000 car for a big motor.... the mustang buyer will probably just buy something with similar performance and list price with more reasonable tax. This is already the reality in some eu and Scandinavian countries. It’s coming to the rest of us soon regardless of Brexit.

All the Mach 1s produced so far, including the few RHD ones we've seen, are all pre-production builds (effectively, they build them to prove the build process at Flat Rock). Those are destined for the crusher.

The first full production '21MY S550 will start to roll down the production line on 4th January. The Mach 1 is officially available in the US in the "Spring", so the builds likely won't start until March/April........with RHD following afterwards.

Ford NZ has announced overnight that we are getting the Mach 1 with first deliveries expected Q2 2021.
Pricing and specs not available yet nor are numbers as we will probably get screwed again by Ford Australia like we did with the Bullitts

Ford is doing an announcement at Goodwood SpeedWeek tomorrow. Some outlets are speculating it is the EU launch of the Mach 1.
