anyone have any thoughts as to the price of what that would entail? still kinda bummed they now offer it only months after getting it on my 18... prob would have just waited had i known.

i figure itll be

1. replace rear valance with a "GT" version to allow for dual exhaust
2. replace rear mufflers with the active version
3. probably some sort of wire harness addition
4. probably some control module software reprogramming to activate it

hoping it will be way less than the Roush one, which comes in at a whopping almost $3k... also just wondering, if itll just be the standard GT active exhaust they throw on the ecoboost? why make 2 different parts right...

looking at the website, its only another 900 bucks or so... hoping they wouldnt charge me beyond that after the fact...

There is a how-to video out there somewhere in youtube land. It was not tied into the car's ECU..a separate switch was run.

I don’t see how it would be worth the money or effort. Just research all the aftermarket EcoBoost systems and pick the one you like best. I’m sure buying the parts across the Ford parts counter would be staggering!

Anybody has a clue how to retrofit the active exhaust to the 2018? I wanted Royal crimson, so had to buy a 2018.

I have the digital dash and really a would like to have the option.
