Reset KAM in Access Port

Trying to find information about this.

How often do you guys use the Reset KAM feature in Diagnostics.
I have only done this once when I changed from a stock Air intake to a MAPerformance CAI.

Do you HAVE to do this when you switch from a 93 tune to an e30 tune?
I've only been asked to do it when I changed to CAI so I have not done it since.

You don't really have to do it at all. I only use it if I'm trying to diagnose a problem.

Agreed. The Kam learns on its own but at a slower pace. I only reset if I make major changes to the car like Cai, exhaust to get faster results.
