Looking for anyone who went through the BBB replacement vehicle program. I have been awarded replacement through Ford, I chose this route because of usage fee for mileage. I'm in the process of buying a house and need the cash I have for closing. I'm not opening a new car loan and personal loan to pay off usage fee this close to closing on home.

The paperwork states MSRP to MSRP swap. Does that mean I can't use any current rebates for new vehicle? The why I'm reading makes it sound like this is the case. I had planned to buy something other than a mustang due to rebates being much better (f-150, explorer).

Call the ford rep you worked with and ask. Ask them if you can switch to a different model or trim with a different msrp and get/send a check for the difference.

Well I haven't been contacted yet from Ford just by BBB. Just trying to understand my options for when they do contact me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel I'm doing Ford a favor filing through the BBB "auto line" they will be able to resale my car most likely as certified pre-owned. If had filed through an attorney the car would have a salvage title. I feel I have some negation power going back into a Ford.
