remove windshield tint strip to display ford logo better?

When I was getting my car windows tinted about 1 1/2 months ago the guy asked me if I wanted the tint strip across the top of the windshield, I debated about it for awhile knowing that it was going to obscure the ford logo that was up there but he talked me into it.

Now I am not sure, the windshield tint strip in my opinion doesn't seem to be doing much as far as keeping the sun out of the car, also it is right at my eye level which is annoying and of course it is obscuring the ford logo up there which I really like, so...

I am looking for opinions,would you remove the windshield tint strip because it is only partially useful, is at an annoying eye level and obscures the ford logo or would you keep it?

Personally, I'd ditch it. That line between tinted and not tinted would drive me crazy.

I think I am going to remove it, does anyone know how hard it is to remove window tint and what is the best way to do it?

I just went at it. Started from a corner, and slowly peeled it off trying to keep it in one piece. Then I soaked the residue left behind with some cleaning thing I had and took it off with a razor blade, came out extremely easy.

Iv never token it off the windshield but iv done it to multiple cars
And it's just As easy as angel says especially on newer tint also a few stores sell a special kits to remove tint

I've used a steamer to get tint off of the windshield. get a straight razor to grab an edge, and use a steamer wand to losen up the adhesive. I've found this way leaves little to clean up afterwards (goo gone works great on any residue left behind), otherwise you have to use Ammonia, and or soap and razors.

Your biggest struggle might just be finding the correct angles to take any residue off.
