Hi. I was just wanting people opinions as to what they have seen and looks great. I have a 2019 Mustang GT Premium 401a with PP1, KONA Blue Exterior and Race Red Interior.
I am having my front Bumper, Hood and Fenders upgrades and want to have Race Stripes Painted on for a permanent smooth look.
I am thinking of 2 center 10" Black or Gray Stripes with either Red or White Pearl Added.
What are some of your opinions. One stripe, Two Stripes, Hood and trunk only or bumper to bumper.
Thank you for your help.

I’m not big on dark on dark but I definitely like full body double strips.

Personally I’d go light, silver or white.

Two white Dayton stripes is more "Ford like" from the old days (and that is what I have on my 2019 Kona Blue GT Premium), but times and styles change. The only person you have to please is you. My last pony car before the 2019 GT was a 2002 Camaro SS, dark metallic blue (almost the same as Kona Blue, with Silver 35th anniversary stripes. They looked good.

I'd avoid gray like the plague, just becasue, to me, gray screams "primer." But, hey, styles change, too and now you can get a Toyota Tacoma in Primer Gray, and they charge you a premium for the paint! They'd have to pay ME to accept gray paint. I might take it if they'd knock off the cost of a paint job and discount the hell out of the truck.

Post what you get done!

An ivory white with Red Pearl might look good also. I have until Thursday to make up my mind. I want the stripes to accent the car and not over power the look. Thanks

I wanted a little darker but this is what I ended up with- I think on an 18+ it will be hard to do two 10" stripes and still have a 1" space between without them hitting the hood vents.

"Le Mans" stripes are both 8" wide. Original Cobra stripes were 12" wide. It all depands on what YOU want on your car.

Here's an original with Daytona stripes in 1967:

If they'll fit on THIS Mustang, they'll fit on a 2019 for sure. Mine do. I did have to cut out for the simulated hood vents, but they look great.

Me too. My car has one wide stripe and one narrow, but every time I see a photo of a car with the two equally wide stripes, I'm thinking: that looks a lot better. I think white is a great match for the darker kona blue.

IMO, adding "pearl" (is that some very thin stripes outside the bigger stripes?) does not look good. I think the second photo above looks great. The two others, not so much.
