In that case making the most N/A power will translate to FI power. Port the heads manifold add cams headers. That extra 100 N/A HP will turn into an extra 200 + when you add FI.

Do you want to run in the pack or lead it?
At this point, just running in the pack would be good enough for me, lol.

In the case of headers, they are a big ticked item. (at least the ones I have were). The entire exhaust system will be up for sale once it comes off. There’s a guy further north of me in FL laying claim to it already.

Had I known I would have been going turbo down the line, I would have kept the factory manifolds in place. I will say that I have enjoyed having them and all my other FBO mods though. The only downside to it all is how expensive it can be.

Im just now looking into mods like a ported intake for the sake of squeezing out the most i can out of a given pulley.

I hear you. What intake are you currently running and looking to port? When the time comes to rebuild my engine, I may be looking to port as well, but for now, I won’t come close to using all the power that the turbo is rated for, so it wouldn’t be good money spent right now.

Going with a ported 2018+ intake, and having my tuner raise shift points to 8k.
Fingers crossed i can dip into 5’s on 93.
That’s my goal. Currently at 6.13 60-130.

I’ve set the goal of squeezing the most out of whatever is possible on 93 before i jump on E85 again. I’ve enjoyed the challenge!

You should be able to do it. If not on 93, definitely on E85.

Go with the top quote, then go right back to them for suspension. You will be happy. But use the PMAS intake on phase one

Gotta do it on 93 brother! Won’t move on until i do, 100%.
Get after it! Are you going to try and do it consistently in warm weather, so that you’ll know it’ll be repeatable anytime? 10R80 car or MT82-D4?

Do you just roll race or drag race as well? When I put nitrous on my car, I was certain it would run 10s effortlessly. It certainly made enough power to do it, but man was I wrong! It turned out to be so much more difficult that I had thought, especially with an MT82-D4 tranny.

It also didn’t help that I was I was on my own trying to figure out my combination. It was nothing but trial and error (rinse and repeat) working to figure out rear shock and clutch slipper device settings and I never got there. After maybe 40 hits at the track within 2 years, I finally took a break from it and that’s when I got this bright idea to turbo the car, lol.

Get back on it man - best part is figuring out what works and what doesn't and getting closer to that result your looking for.

Shit what's the point of working hard and saving $$$ we ain't taking anything with us but our memories and experiences.

Car is built for roll racing mainly. I don't mind digs - just I'm aware its not setup to shine there.
10r80. Any time the time improves even if its by two tenths. That satisfying feeling of accomplishment its deep man. It's deep.

And vice versa when something doesn't necessarily go as planned it's like the most frustrating thing. You hyper focus on it. I know I do, like my whole day is ruined until I figure out why or how.
