Has anyone had an issue with their recaro seat making a clicking noise? Both my drivers and passenger seats make this annoying clicking noise when you shift your weight from front to back. Seems to be coming from the seat frame. I had recaros in my 350 and didn’t experience this issue.

Did you get this figured out? I have the leather seats and both of them are doing the same thing.

Correct, if I push in on door panel it stops. It goes in next week to get looked at

Both my Recaros have been doing this. I took the car in and they "tightened" parts of the seats. The passenger is still doing a bit of it as long as it's not all the way back. The driver's seat clicks on turns. Taking the car back for other stuff, they're supposed to look at them again.

I’ve head two S550’s, both had clicking seats.
Get some foam tape, unbolt the seat (you can do one at a time, but two is easier) and place foam tape under the seat mounts. Re-tighten the seats down and your clicking will be gone.
Amazing to me that they can’t do something that simple at the factory and that I had two different mustangs with the same problem.

I’ve unbolted and re torqued them and seemed to help some. I’m thinking of adding some foam between the seat frame and floor boards next. I’ve also noticed the seat position plays a factor in the ticking as well. Doing anything to avoid a trip to the dealer

Yes, I have. When I uninstalled the seats to install harnesses, I retorqued the seat rail bolts and now no more noise.

Yet another Ford F up.

Mine seems to have went away with a re-torque of the bolts and a seat movement

Is there a factory torque setting or the seat bolts, or is it a four white knuckles setting ?

Cheers,
