So I recently went to Caffeine and octane in Atlanta and there was an S550 lowered on SR perf lowering springs. With 325/30/19’s on the back and no camber. I really want project 6gr wheels and was looking at a 19 inch front and 20 inch rear for a 35-30 profile set up with the different width tires but the way his sits is perfect for me with 19s all around. I am just wondering what’s the widest anyone has squeezed on a 19? Posting pics below of his car for reference.

They’re running a proper size. A 285/35 up front and 325/30 have the same diameter. But I’m not a fan of staggered wheels/tires with different heights, often times because springs lower the car similar amounts front and rear so the stagger gives you different wheel gaps and it just doesn’t look good imo. A 325 fits fine on an 11” wheel but I wouldn’t put it on a wheel that’s any narrower

Why not? I have 325's on a 19x10. Zero problems, saves on curb rash.

19x10 285/35 and 19x11 325/30 here. BMR drag springs. Fit works perfect for me.

Sure... This could be totally fine depending on the model of tire and the intended application. It's not unsafe or anything. It definitely protects the wheel...The downside is that with most tires, you won't get the optimal contact patch or responsiveness with a pinch or a stretch beyond the recommended range.... Some tire models applied to this combo might look a bit off but yours may look fine. If they're preforming and wearing as well as you need them to, they're probably good to go.

In most cases, a pinch like this would be seen in drag applications but also with a shorter rim/taller sidewall combination. For example, guys think nothing of running 275/60/15 on an 8" wide wheel for drag racing. For 19" wheels with aspirations of good handling, you would want a rim that was 1.5" wider to accommodate the same 275 width.

345s have been done on 11.5 but it isn’t recommended. For GT no poke 285/325. With some camber and poke 305/325 can be done.

As I don't want a 10/10 track car, the 3/4" of contact patch that I lost doesn't bother me in the least. As for responsiveness, the 30 aspect ratio and 32 psi tire pressure that tire doesn't move on the wheel at all.
