I didn't think you needed the mid point brackets.

I don't recall ever seeing the part numbers for them.

This is what I've gathered over the years.

Anyway, I ordered the following parts from Tasca Parts. Total price including shipping was under $150.

Front - 34mm. Stock is 32mm
FR3Z-5482-J (1) - Sway Bar
FR3Z-5484-C (2) - Sway Bar Bushing

Rear - 23.6mm. Stock is 21.7mm (base) or 22.2mm (pp)
FR3Z-5A772-E (1)- Sway Bar
FR3Z-5493-C (2) - Sway Bar Bushing

I went to tasca and just the bars are $230 and they want $100 to ship!

The prices on the bars doubled last year.

You need the bushings. and I think you need the front bracket but I for sure know you don't need the rear if you have the correct bushings.

Since the bars are bigger you need new bushings. You can re-use your existing rear brackets. The front brackets are not removable from the existing PP1 sway bar without cutting them off. I also had to buy a really long ratchet extension to reach the front bolts from the top of the engine.

In December 2018 I ordered the 34mm front and 24mm rear GT350R bars from a local dealer to avoid shipping costs, and bought the bushings and brackets from Autonation White Bear Lake. The part numbers were:

FR3Z-5482-J Stabilizer Bar $75.00
FR3Z-5A772-E Stabilizer Bar $75.00
FR3Z-5484-C Stabilizer Bar Bushing $11.02 each
F2GZ-5493-C Stabilizer Bar Bushing $4.32 each
FR3Z-5486-A Stabilizer Bar Bracket $2.82 each

Thanks, I'll check my local dealer. Even going through whitebear it comes to $190 shipped for the front with bushing and bracket. At that price the BMR bar is worth the extra $10.

I know this is an old thread. But I just wanted to add that I just install the GT350R front sway bar. Part No. FR3Z-5482-J. Scored it on eBay for $128.

I already had the rear installed.

This thing is beefy!! It actually says 36.0 on it. My OEM V6 bar was 32.0.
Can’t wait to test drive her.

Let us know how you like it. I changed my rear one out for a GT and it really makes the car feel great. 36 might be to stiff in the front?

Will do, for sure. The car definitely feels so much more connected to the road, with just the rear GT350R bar.👌🏼 I’m hoping for a more nimble steering feel., with this front one. If this doesn’t do it, I’ll be getting the Steeda G-Track subframe brace.

I forgot to add that this bar is only 1lb more than my OEM. Not too bad.

How was the install?

Googling the part number it's pretty cheap. It's solid right?

install was very simple. I used a CJ Pony Parts YouTube install video. It was especially easy since I have a V6. All the bracket bolts were accessible from the engine bay. The old bar slid out very easily and the new one in just as easy.

I do not believe it’s solid.
