Since the bars are bigger you need new bushings. You can re-use your existing rear brackets. The front brackets are not removable from the existing PP1 sway bar without cutting them off. I also had to buy a really long ratchet extension to reach the front bolts from the top of the engine.I have a 18 pp1 so.i didn't order bushings or brackets. Is that right?
Will do, for sure. The car definitely feels so much more connected to the road, with just the rear GT350R bar. I’m hoping for a more nimble steering feel., with this front one. If this doesn’t do it, I’ll be getting the Steeda G-Track subframe brace.Let us know how you like it. I changed my rear one out for a GT and it really makes the car feel great. 36 might be to stiff in the front?
I know this is an old thread. But I just wanted to add that I just install the GT350R front sway bar. Part No. FR3Z-5482-J. Scored it on eBay for $128.
I already had the rear installed.
This thing is beefy!! It actually says 36.0 on it. My OEM V6 bar was 32.0.
Can’t wait to test drive her.
install was very simple. I used a CJ Pony Parts YouTube install video. It was especially easy since I have a V6. All the bracket bolts were accessible from the engine bay. The old bar slid out very easily and the new one in just as easy. How was the install?
Googling the part number it's pretty cheap. It's solid right?
