Hi , I would like to replace rear sides speakers to 2016 Ecoboost convertible. At certain volume , with only 2 bass bars on the equaliser (sync2) , the sound gives distorsión . Has Anyone experienced same problem ? Yes sometimes it depends of the sound input and songs quality but overall , it happens in 8 songs out of 10 and only with rear speakers .

Can anyone send me a link with video tutorial where shows how to replace them and gives me info about the original rear speakers size and power , so I can buy better one and bit more powerful ,with no adding extra amplifier and sub .

Thanks

Crutchfield.com is good place find out what will fit your car. If you buy from them, they include written instructions on how to open the panels and replace the speakers.

Look at this video on installing a light bar to get an idea on how hard it is to remove the rear panels.

It's pretty easy, I removed the driver side panel to install the SmartTop module in my vert. I'm about ready to install a light bar and I'm considering upgrading my speakers while I have everything apart.

I did the the JBL’s also. I don’t know if you have the factory sub or not, I do and there was only a mild performance difference. Of course, if you have a faulty speaker, these will work fine for you. I also used the above video for installation without difficulty.

NoSub . It is a 9 speakers set . I asked ford to check the rear speakers and no fault has been found .

I reused the factory connectors which makes it clean but it probably doesn’t matter much.

I'd be interested in hearing if these help any.
I intend to use the factory wiring from the stock speakers when I swap.

There is a comment in this forum with the video of how to replace rear speakers keeping factory plug from original speakers.

Yeah, I saw that. Changing the plugs over and mounting is not an issue for me, even if there's modifications involved.
I just don't want to go to the expense or trouble if speakers alone e don't make a noticeable improvement.
