Be mindful that somebody complained a few months back about seat belts warnings showing up after a non-OEM RSD conversion. So your conversion kit needs to take care of that now.

You could make your own out of plywood and black carpet; I've seen it done and looks just as good as any of the others.

Or take the seats out and don't put anything back in. Though I understand if that's not the look you're going for.
Yeah , I hear ya ... I want the OEM standard look for show purposes.

I never really got the rear seats delete things????
On a race cars, you remove all the interior trim for weight reduction
On a track car, a few pounds more or less is not going to make any real difference
On a street car ???? Why?
Seriously, it seems to be like the Recaro seats: designed to make uninformed people believe that you are a race car driver…..
When the back seats arent ever used or when no adult would sit back there or when your 9 year old in a car seat says its tight. Those were my reasons for ordering a Mach 1 with RSD. This actually was a $250 option. Not sure why it costs more but...
I only used the back seat in prior ride once or twice when my daughter was younger, other than that never.

That is not the rear seat delete part#. That part# comes up rear floor mat: https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/body/seats/floor-mat-12590923-1?pdp=y

You want part# M-6346612-GT: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6346612-GT

But as someone has already mentioned, Steeda is cheaper: https://www.steeda.com/ford-performance-m-6346612-gt-mustang-rear-seat-delete
As is AM: https://www.americanmuscle.com/2015-mustang-rear-seat-delete-kits.html

Then there's always aftermarket!!
Is that part# "M-6346612-GT" for GT or does is cross lines and work in the 350 as well?

It says 2018, 2019 and 2020, but then is says it's OEM for GT500 track pack

AM says 2018- 2022.
You can call AM, Steeda and FP... save some pennies..!

I'll give you the most honest answer ever. I can't stand having my kids in my cars. Wrappers, crumbs, spilled drinks and crap everywhere. Do a rear seat delete and problem solved.
My kids aren't allowed to have food/open drinks in the Mustang, period and they know. No dogs either.

So Ford charge more for giving you less?
Obviously Ford has taken a page from the Porsche book…

French fries & sticky apply juice for days ... just more frequent cleanings, unfortunately.

I must be the only person in the world who took an 8000 mile roadtrip in a Mustang with my wife and two kids. Even had my mother-in-law and wife riding in the back a few times. My 11 year old is 5'6" and 170lbs and fits in the back just fine... My wife would trade with him so she could sleep in the back seat...

Now.. About the F$C*^!# foodwrappers... I have no answers... Other than it's not allowed unless we are on vacation.

That’s funny to me, because I wouldn’t even own a Mustang if it wasn’t for my kids. I’d 100% be in a C6/7/8 Z06. But it’s pretty lame to tell your kid, “sorry you can’t ride with dada I’m taking the fun car”

But yea no food in my car is a hard rule, and I have a rear seat mat under the booster seat + a kick mat on the back of the passenger
