Rear pad replacement - service manual note: internal parking brake clutch cone???

Can anybody explain to me what this means??? Clutch cone, piston aligning with the pin?

... just took it apart and realized what this meant. The piston has a slot in it and when you rotate it to turn it (and compress it) you need to line up this slot with a pin in the inboard brake pad. This pin slides into the slot in the piston. When you take it apart it becomes obvious. Thx for listening.... ;)

Yup you got it. At least you didn’t try to compress the piston with a screw clamp like I did the first time. Just turn it and make sure it aligns with the pins in the pad. A few or 5 hard pulls on the ebrake before you drive off too.
