Rear drag pack alignment?

I was wondering do I need an alignment I haven’t seen anyone else do it haha

Probably a stupid question but I just put 305/45/17s on my rears with 255/35/19s with stock wheels on the front and I plan on daily driving it . I was wondering should I do an alignment so the thread last longer & any other benefits?

it’s hard to answer. Without knowing what your running now. But, Google BMR Drag alignment. I run my rears with .08 camber and .013 toe each side to get maximum tire contact patch on my street car. This was with stock camber adjustment. I have nice even wear. I also live in a very flat state. Where the only curvy roads are off/on ramps.

Interesting, but I believe that Miami Power Wheels is incorrect about that. With all other things being equal, your suspension doesn't know what size tire is on it. I think they are just trying to sell alignments.

Edit: After reading through their alignment page, your source has absolutely no credibility. The comedic value was great though. This line was one of my favorites -" When one wheel is not parallel or perpendicular to another wheel and touching that wheel at only one point, the vehicle alignment is out of specs. "

I do, on a regular basis. There has been no consistent difference in the alignment specs of my car between rear tire sizes. I only asked because I thought maybe I was going to learn something new, but my Hunter machine will allow me to align a car with the wheels off, so I wasn't hopeful.

Then you know the taller the tire, the more pronounce ( in/out ) on the top it is with say the same -3 degrees camber. You'll have to make adjustments for it. Unless of course it's at 0.

Update: I had the alignment guy check he said that the alignment was fine & was perfect to drive but I I am getting a lot toe wear but he said it’s normal for these type of cars. So I guess if you throw on a drag pack for the rears you don’t need an alignment but I will be going back with some drag specs just to make sure!
