I'm going through this right now lol! Started my diff swap bolts all by hand (3.15 to iron 3.55). Got a 1/4 in and it started getting tough. I attributed mine to not cleaning the factory threads, or at least that helps me sleep at night.
Nonetheless, I said F it and just went slow with my 18mm and breaker bar. I did find a tear in my drivers side diff bushing that I will address when I do drop the subframe.
Did mine on my back as well.
