This is the first 'minor' mod I've done on the mustang ...seems strange to mod a brand new car ...never done it before ...I'm not keen on the round GT filler cap badge ...quite liked the Pony from the US ecoboost , but decided to go for a plain decklid and add a tribar mustang .....

I like the result.
Next, more minor mods ; redline bonnet struts and LED front sidelights and DRL / fog .
Shortly I'll be fitting a catback and mid year I'll be doing wheel / tyres, suspension and Whipple.

Having fun
Matt

I like that
If it weren't my intention to remove as much of the chrome as possible this would be my choice of rear emblem.

So do I. Thanks for the pics. I've had that combo sitting in my garage garage for 6 months now waiting for my car. Looks more subtle than the V6 tribar in my opinion.

Looks nice, better than the GT one.
I know what you mean about modding a new car. I felt so nervous having my stripes done and was worried people would ask what the hell I am doing that to a new car for.

I am over it now and it goes in the body shop next week!

My neighbors could not believe it when after 2-3 days of owning my car they saw it up on the air on the driveway with me underneath fitting new parts. :D

The following morning they got V8 o'clock! :D :D :D

mattus Looks great that! Im looking at changing mine to the plain deck lid, how easy was it to remove? Ive seen a couple of videos online and one its 4 bolts and pulls off and another video they remove the 4 bolts then the internal boot liner on the inside of the boot, How strong are the clips as well are they easily breakable on the decklid? Cheers

I just followed the CJ pony video; was pretty accurate ...clips are tight, and it feels 'wrong' pulling the decklid off. Use lots of masking tape on the boot ..just in case you slip with the plastic implement of your choice ..
