Rear bumper lip accent on base model s550

[Gurgles]

Has anyone tried installing the black lip (that comes on the rear bumper of the premium gt and ecoboost mustangs) on their base model v6, gt, or ecoboost mustang? I have a white v6 and really hate how rear looks without it... I want some tips before buying it and jumping into the install.

You can't just install the valence on the Base bumper. You have a few options:

1. Upgrade to premium rear bumper and valence
-pro's: opens up the options for many diffusers and valences(roush, RTR, GT350, etc)
-con's: cost

2. Buy the MMD add-on
-pro: looks different than solid colored base
-con: still doesn't allow other diffuser options, and doesn't add the black valence

3. Pay a body shop to cut up your Base bumper and attach the Premium valence
-I still haven't seen this done successfully where anyone can explain how they did it. It seems the most involved
