Getting rid of wheel gap is overrated in my opinion. Besides, how would I clear all those damn giant speed bumps at work?

All the cool cars these days have wheel gap... ;)

I do too but I think it would be un driveable. I thought about 20 inch wheels instead

That car is also lowered

The car is low as is and sits perfectly? Why would you want to ruin the handling and scrape even more?

I've lowered every other sports car I've had. All of them looked awesome afterwards...none of them ever drove the same and handling was diminished. I'm not screwing around with my GT350.

Ive never had a car handle worse after being lowered. They may of rode worse though.

For real input - google "Bagged Shelby GT350" - some guy has already done this.

Most of the people here find that counterproductive with this car and I don't disagree. But at least there you might find some useful info.

Depending on the car...most modern performance cars don't see much benefit from lowering...and most people don't do it correctly, anyway. Then there are people who just cant tell that the performance is diminished because they never have the opportunity to push the car to that level in the first place.

Sorry. Not a fanboy, but I'd change nothing to this car.

Interested in what you end up doing though.

I like to disassemble things.
There's definitely room to lower the car and done properly there is the potential for a performance gain. Thankfully, the aftermarket seems to be handling the GT350 with care and I suspect that spring kits will jibe well with the Mag dampers (along with recalibrating the ride height sensors). My sense is that 3/4" to 1-1/4" drop max is where the initial kits will fall anyway.

I lowered my '15 GT and it looked good but the handling wasn't the same after. I won't be touching the 350. It will be tough since I love the look of flush and minimal gap, but I have to remember that it has the stance it has for a reason! If it needed to be lower they'd of made it lower.
