if I need to wear ear plugs and expose myself to wind-burn it'll be in leathers, helmet and 160HP/liter.

it's always the driver that makes the difference. What's nice about the EB is that it teaches you to be a 'momentum' driver and much less a 'stomp on the gas when straight' driver. And my friend with the GT has to give my EcoBoost the point by on the straights because I am pushing him coming out of the turn.
All cars are momentum cars… at least if you care about lap times.it's always the driver that makes the difference. What's nice about the EB is that it teaches you to be a 'momentum' driver and much less a 'stomp on the gas when straight' driver.
what car are you driving? my 22 GT doesn't roll out of bed till like 4K rpms LOLit's always the driver that makes the difference. What's nice about the EB is that it teaches you to be a 'momentum' driver and much less a 'stomp on the gas when straight' driver.
My first Mustang was a 2016 V6, bought it in 2020 right before Covid hit. Prior to that I was almost exclusively GM for the prior 20+ years (had a Hyundai in there too which was an awful experience , never again with that brand). Bought the V6 first to make sure I really liked the platform before going to the GT (I did test drive a GT and EB as well, only things I didn’t like about the EB were the sound and the turbo lag). Loved the platform so much I ordered a GT last year and am now looking to add a Shelby. But the EB and V6 are really good in their own rights and I totally understand why so many people like them.It cracks me up when the v8 snobs say that Mustang should only come with a v8. The 4 and 6 cylinder cars is what keeps the Mustang going. I've had 4,6 and 8 cylinder Mustangs and have loved them all. As for the clown that thinks a 4 cylinder cheapens the brand I must laugh. I'TS A FORD lol. Now I must grab my GT/CS and tear thru the neighborhood at 7K pissing off all my neighbors. Have a great day folks.
Exactly, as Vin Serento says, It's not the car you drive. It's the driver who's driving the car that's doing the drivingit's always the driver that makes the difference. What's nice about the EB is that it teaches you to be a 'momentum' driver and much less a 'stomp on the gas when straight' driver.
with an aftermarket exhaust it sounds like a typical 4 cylinder like a subaru brz/wrx kindaWhat does the eco boost sound like? Does it come with active exhaust? For me muscle/sports car says V8. I’m a dinosaur.
My HPP came with Active Exhaust. It does not sound like a V8, but I like how it sounds. On YouTube you can find clips of the HPP exhaust in different modes. What does the eco boost sound like? Does it come with active exhaust? For me muscle/sports car says V8. I’m a dinosaur.
i like the way they sound too. you could hear the turbo. My HPP came with Active Exhaust. It does not sound like a V8, but I like how it sounds. On YouTube you can find clips of the HPP exhaust in different modes.
I don’t think you are a dinosaur. I think you like what you like. That’s cool.
In my case it's bc I got my 2020 Hpp w HP , active exhaust, magneride, 101A, w 4900 miles on it for $28,900. Couldnt get a spec'd out GT for anywhere near that price, and that pricew also happened to match my on hand funds and i bought it cash, so, no brainer in my case.I was curious if anyone could explain the rationale for why someone would choose an Ecoboost HPP over a GT when the HPP appears to cost more than the GT yet the performance of the HPP seems to be much lower than the GT?
What am I missing?
Thanks.
