Hi all, Long Time First Time,

Im 23 yrs old, and this coming Saturday I'm scooping my first car ever

Its a 2015 Comp Orange Ecoboost Premium. I could not be more excited and Ive already begun the process of planning out my war paint.

Ive scoured this forum including the "official comp orange" thread and the "show me your stripes thread" for ideas and Ive seen amazing black stripes and that's probably what I'm going with.

However, I stumbled onto this.....

Silver Stripes!, I hadn't even imagined that and this looks pretty damn cool. Unfortunately this video suffers from the usual orange that looks like red problem from the camera the dealer uses and the cloudy weather.

So here is my plea to you all, does anyone have pics of comp orange 2015s with silver stripes that actually look Comp orange. I would be mega grateful.

also bonus request for any non traditional black stripes on the comp orange

I would say so far I agree with that sentiment.

.....But it never hurts to know for sure. Don't want to get sticker regret.

Difficult finding an S550 in CO with grey stripes, but stumbled upon this one with sky blue stripes. Not bad...

Orange with silver or charcoal stripes is a great alternative to black stripes. It has an oldskool feel to it. Was more common in ye olde days than orange and black.
It may not be so common on mustangs, but was on other model cars.
Unique and tasteful.

The CO with baby blue stripes looks cool. I would leave it as is, but paint the side mirrors to match the stripes.

no stripes imo... black accents on the orange looks alot better after a very long debate with myself about it...

oh and I hate any color stripes or accents on CO except for gloss and matte black... just to get that out there too... all opinion of course.

I went with a matte black Mohawk stripe. Break up the orange a little bit. American muscles website has example cars with silver stripes I believe. Looks good. I considered silver but went with black as my wheels are black.

I looked at stripes but in the end thought the Comp/Orange does just fine by its self

What about getting the stripes from the CS model? I'm...fairly certain the California Special package is only available on the GT, but you could maybe have the dealer order the stripe kit? Here's mine:

I agree!

My opinion would be either black stripes or no stripes! Comp. Orange is a beautiful color.

At the end of the day, it is your car, so do what makes you happy. :headbang:

I've seen CS style stripes offered by vinyl companies that actually look bolder than the factory ones. While I want a CS myself, I think the fade stripes are kind of weak or too subtle.
