I don't feel sorry for them, as they may find joy in seeing the cars as simply pieces of art or even investments.

However, I do feel sorry for the car. As time goes by, the non-use just rots the car away from the inside. I find too much joy in driving so I could never stash a car away and just let it sit. I feel it'd be like having a greyhound and not letting it out to run, or just keeping any creature locked in a cage its hole life.

Today's the day. Just over 9 hours to go and sitting at $52,500. The real action doesn't happen on BaT until about the final 10 minutes, so we'll have to wait a bit longer for the fun to start.

I wonder if it'll see six figures?

A savvy S550 GT350 investor won't necessarily think a 2015 Track Pack is terrifically important. It's only attribute that warrants interest is "2015". There have been three 2015 Tech Packs for sale on eBay for years....just recently, only one remains for sale there. A 2015 R model up for sale is a completely different animal.

Optimistic, maybe, but there are SOOO many final sales on BaT that completely astonish me with their much higher than expected-numbers, so I was just curious if a rare '15 350 would have a similar result.

Maybe take a look at the very next 2015 GT350 Track Pack car built (F0077) that is presently for sale at North American Motorcar in N. Salem, N.Y.

Not suggesting that they will get their asking price of $124,500 but never say never on a 2015 GT350 1 of 1 color/stripe combination that is still on the MSO.

IMHO, all S550 GT350s are awesome (even 2016 Tech Packs) but because FoMoCo made so many, only the 37 2015 Rs will be highly (and forever) sought by collectors.
