Nope, can't use stock lugs with the extended studs. I bought Ford Performance open lugs for my OEM wheels and ViBE sent me a set of open lugs for my aftermarket wheels. I don't know what brand those are to be honest.

Nice work! did you ever receive the center wheel caps? Like I said, they were nothing special, but might be good sacrificial caps when you need them.

Awesome write up, I enjoyed it! I love seeing people passionate about their cars and the experiences they bring them

I have my '18 GT350 currently in production, and I cannot wait until it is completed and I can pick it up!

Congrats again!!!

Car looks great, bro! Going to be fun out there at Buttonwillow next month! That's some serious camber. Were you able to get that just from the Vorshlag plates? Any pic of the top of the struts in the top strut mount? I imagine you don't have much room :)

Yeah I got the center caps. Thanks again! They're going to go on my OEM set because they look like the same manufacturer as my black ones that I lost at Laguna Seca or Thunderhill. If they go on my track set, they'll go flying as soon as the temps heat up

Yup! And still a little more room to go. I saw more than -3 degrees before we backed it off a little and it still wasn't touching the anything. I'll try to get a picture of it in a bit. I was surprised that we were able to get about -3 degrees out back too. Good to know there's a ton of room to work with and I highly doubt I'll need that much but who knows?

I can't wait! And once again, thanks for setting it all up. I know it was a lot of work but I'm so damn excited and I hope it can become a yearly thing. I don't hit up the tracks as often as I'd like to and it's been a while since my last time. I think I'm more excited about that than Fabulous Fords Forever :D

Nice! I can only get -2.2 out of Maximum Motorsports camber plates. Wish I had realized that you were limited compared to the Vorshlag plates. Should've went that route!

Was that your Dad in this vid with you? He was like a Kid asking you to rev it all the time. I feel the same in my car...its driving my wife nuts.
 yup that's my pops! He almost has as much fun riding passenger as I do when I drive it.

I had some spare time today and decided to personalize one of my Hot Wheels toys. They never made one that looked like mine so I made my own. The best part is that the OEM Ford Race Red touch up paint is an exact match to the color they use on the Hot Wheels car. Made it easy to paint over the stripes. You can't even tell they were ever there. I'll be sure to make my chassis number larger on the next one.

Wry cool write, thanks for sharing. Your current setup with the square tires and FP springs, r hubs, and Vorshlag Camber plates is a direction I’m heading as well. Did you change the sway bar setup at all?

Thanks! I haven't changed the sway bars yet because I want to see how the rest of the mods I did change the way the car feels. I might do sways/bushings next year. I want to do little by little and see the difference each batch of parts makes. 2 more weeks and I can finally test this setup out!

Oh, and here's my alignment settings for this year:

Fab Fords and Buttonwillow

So I'm always late on updating here but the latest I have to share is my trip down to Southern California for the Fabulous Fords Forever show and a private track day at Buttonwillow Raceway that was set up by 50 Deep and VUDUGT350 which you all probably heard about and have already seen a million pictures and videos.

First, I'll start with the Fabulous Fords Forever show down in Buena Park, CA. For those of you that don't know, it's a huge show down in Southern California that usually get's over 1500 cars of allllll kinds....as long as they're :ford:. There were Fords of all types. I'd say it was 80% Mustangs but there's a good group of Broncos, Panther platforms, and trucks. They even had their fair share of Pintos, escorts, and even a Probe! My favorite part of the show was the fact that before this day, I never saw a single Ford GT, but they had THREE!

This was probably the largest gathering of GT350's I've seen in one place outside of the plant up in Michigan. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of all of us but here are a few cell phone pics I took from the show. I was took excited looking at all of the cars to take out my DSLR so you guys are stuck with my cell phone pics.

icormba, live2ride90, myself and my dad's Excursion once we arrived in Buena Park.

All the cars lined up on the street, waiting to enter the show. The entire lineup circled the entire Knott's Berry Farm theme park!

picture.jpg

Saleen S1 supercar. Steve Saleen and the family were there signing autographs.

picture.jpg

An absolutely drop dead gorgeous Coyote swapped Lincoln Continental. I sat there staring at this thing for minutes. It was one of my favorite cars in the entire show.

The 3 GT's and a closeup of those beautiful carbon fiber wheels. I wish the GT350R's wheels showed the weave like this.

picture.jpg

2019 Bullitt. They had a Bullitt from every generation there! This color looks amazing in the sunlight.

picture.jpg

ZX2's represent! My commuter is a 1998 ZX2 so when I saw these I started jumping up and down like a little kid. Such fun little cars!

picture.jpg

My shitty pic of the GT350 lineup. We were about 2 and half rows deep. I didn't take many pics of them though but each one was unique in some way, shape or form.

Jake from VibeMotorsports was there to take some pictures of my car and icormba's. The pics came out great!

These last 2 are my favorites.

If any of you are able to make it to a Fabulous Fords Forever show, I highly recommend it. I'll throw up some pics and a video of Buttonwillow when I get a chance. This post was long enough.
