So I was finally able to track my R. It is my first time tracking a car but I must say that my karting skills helped a lot. First video was during the new members group and the second was for the intermediate group. Watch the M4 in the side mirror for the 2nd video ;)

Enjoy!

Haha, the M4 is good, but not GT350R good. Great videos, awesome car. Love it all.

Cool vid. I came from shifter kart only experience but found the mass of a production car to make running fast way more challenging. Karts are more forgiving.

Were you using sport or track mode? Reason I ask is sport mode tends to make the accelerator touchy and was curious if you felt the same. Touchy accelerator is not reassuring in high speed sustained cornering.

I did yahama 100, rotax and 125cc shifter. And yes I agree a car is more challenging with the mass. I was running sport mode only because the drag strip was really slippery. When I was in track mode I was spinning tire in 3rd and 4th gears. However, I believe once the tires warm up its ok to be in track mode. I didn't find the accelerator touchy either in sport mode, I'm probably just used to it.

Unfortunately, the race car engine let go on Saturday morning. So after some sorrowful drinking for the rest of the day, on Sunday I did a few sessions in the GT350.

I didn't run Harry's because the track configuration wasn't in it. But here's some video...

That looks like a great kart track, gives your R a good workout. I ran B stock karts (twin Yamaha 100cc) back in the day when the races were 60 minutes long.
