Yea, looks like it should work just fine. Here's a thread with someone using a very similar power tap (there's a link to a youtube video showing how it hooks up to the ford mirror): http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26482

That should work fine. The tap on the one I bought were .075 and they fit snuggly. I would make sure they are similar in size.
