Would be interesting to see their wind tunnel result data. I am liking the improvement numbers they are claiming.

Race Louvers claims all their products are wind tunnel tested, but I agree, it would be nice to see the actual test reports

Hey Ewheels, noticed these the other day sifting thru the website. They seem like an excellent upgrade but just not seeing how to make them functional without cutting the inner fender some.

Oh you would have to cut the inner fender or remove it completely.

I ended up removing my fender liner entirely. I went with some fender vents intended for a Miata... by coincidence they fit the mustang nicely. Was eager to go out on track and do some real world testing with them to see if they achieved what I wanted (many of the claims mentioned on the RaceLouver site), but then Covid hit... Was planning on running a Tuft test at some point as well, as Ewheels mentioned, there is concern with the air path using the factory style air diverting design to feed air feeding off of the front splitter into the rotor. I am not 100% sure they would play nice together.

Wow, interesting. Those actually came out sweet. Will definitely anticipate your findings.

Look for him on Youtube. Him and AJ Hartman work together on their wind tunnel runs. Al publishes some of it on his website.

This looks darn cool. I would really like to see more pics. :)

So no downside on removing the liners?
I've been looking for more junk to get rid of.....LOL!

Not for me but I live in the desert. In an area that sees rain or snow I wouldn't remove them.

I see rain or snow but the car never does! It sleeps in a warm garage all winter, travels to and from the track on a trailer and generally is pampered except when I am thrashing it on a track. Thanks for the info.

i pulled my fender liners (4) years ago, (3) of them as my DD in the often wet PNW. only downsides have been a collection of rocks behind the foam, and a lot of sandblasting on the bracing. other than that, it makes working on the car much easier, and prevents my massive 335/13 front setup tearing through liners on the regular!

335 front???

Tire store clerk: "Hi there, how can I help you?"

Boardkat: "I want ALL of the grip."
