I want to go with R888R tires and I want to do them front and rear. Rear im going with a 325/30 but the front they do not offer a 305/30 rather a 305/35 which would make the front tire taller. I could do a 285/35 and be about the same height as the 325/30 rear but I would lose some width. Could i do a 325/30 on the front or will it have rubbing issues? From what I understand the front and rear wheel are both the same width but different offsets but I may be wrong. Or another option may be 315/30 on all 4 corners.

Just ordered a set of 315/30/20s for the rear. I'd stay as close to factory sizes as possible. These are expensive tires and you would hate to have premature wear due to over/under sizing.

I did FP Sport Cup 2s 315/30-20 all around on stock non CFTP wheels. I added 12mm spacers to the front. Worked great at the track last weekend.

Are you running the stock tires up front? I want to do track days as well as drag strip stuff. I didnt know if running two different kinds of tires at the same time would make it handle oddly.

Will be running stocks front for awhile. Haven't received the R888Rs yet, but will be using them for the strip and street fun. Don't think I would try any track events with the mismatched setup though.

Corvettes come with a 20 inch tall by 12 inch wide rear rim and a 19 inch tall by 10 front rim and don't have any problems due to different sizes front and back.

so would the consensus be put the stock 315/30 out back and 305/35 up front? Or 315/30 front and rear?

Looks like with the 305/35s you will be mounting a tire which is almost an inch taller than stock. Not ideal.

Stay with the stock size. The 888s will give you fantastic grip whether you're at the drags or on a road course. I have found triple 8s run wide compared to other brands. Expect them to be noisy compared to your PS4s.

Thats the problem the dont have the stock size for the front with r888r. So i either have to go with a 305/30 which is taller. 285/35 which is not as wide. 315/30 which is wider. Noise im not concerned with the car is catless so i doubt i will hear them that much haha.

Ya thats what scares me. Im leaning toawards 315/30 on all 4.

I gotcha, I didn't know the 888s don't come in a stock size that fit the front of our cars.
10mm is not that much but I couldn't honestly say if there'd be a clearance issue or not.
