Ya the Cup 2 tires pick up everything. Even with the splash guards in front, sometimes I'll still get rocks on the side skirts behind the wheels.Yeah its the driver side rear. There is hardly any room between the caliper and the inner part of the rim. I swear this car is just a magnet for rocks. I had a rock that got wedged between the CF spoiler and truck top. No clue how that happened but luckily it didn’t cause any damage like this.
I assume the wheels are still holding air and it's just cosmetic?I’ve got a lot of chips in the coating from heavy track use. I touch it up with a black sharpie.
Yes, again. It happens.Oh no... here we go again.
those wheels are one of the best things about the car. run the cf wheels in the heat of summer and signatures the rest of the year.this is why I took my carbon fiber wheels off the car as soon as I got it home. That would drive me insane. The paint on your caliper is probably damaged as well.
I washed my carbon fiber wheels before storing them (after taking them off the car) and I ended up with a bunch of swirl marks. I guess I should have used brand new microfiber towels to clean them. That drives me crazy, I can imagine what this would do.
