So true...and the reason I already have a "for sale" flyer drafted for my 1970 Buick Skylark. Love the car, has been very fun learning to work on it but I don't want to die in it. And I am first and foremost a driver not a tinkerer so working on it alone will never be enough for me. So this accident in a *very* safe car with cutting edge safety features made me realize how badly I could be injured even in a fender bender while driving the Buick.I love classic cars but I will not buy one due to the fact that they are death traps if you get into an accident. You could be the greatest driver in the world, but you share the road with many others who are just terrible drivers.
At least I still get to hear a nice V8 sound for a little while longer until it sells
