Dunno. Never had a bonestock 10r80 GT on the dyno to compare advertised vs wheel.
Some vids range from 395-415 rwhp for 10R80., which is Impressive. So I wonder what would a 6spd come in at.

Either way, Does anyone know what type of suspension work was done to the blue car in the vid?

This is Murika.. straight lines is all that matters haha.
haha...puerto Rico been doin that chit for YEARS!
Absolutely. PR is indeed the USA and our hotrodder brothers down there know their stuff. Smart, dedicated dudes for sure. One of my old neighbors who moved over here from he island was tuning the living crap out of a Mazda GLC. He totally opened my eyes to what could be done with a 8000+ RPM 4cyl. I never got to ride in it but it was a screamer. If someone handed that guy another bank of cylinders...holy shit.

If I wanna watch a clown I'll go to the circus.
I actually laughed out loud at that comment. He has got to be one of the smartest and most obnoxious people out there making car related youtube content. If I ran into him, I don't know if I'd shake his hand or grab him by the collar and shake him. :D

Someone mentioned 700 NA coyote....Do the math @ 20% loss puts you at 560 rwhp for 10R80.
I don't know the exact numbers but this is pretty normal for a slush pump auto. Since there's almost certainly a looser converter than stock, there's probably even a couple more % going up in heat rather than going to the road.

Oh yeah... the video.
That car is extremely impressive. There are so many questions to ask, many of which they'd probably not be willing to answer and give up the secret sauce.

Have these guys shared anything about their build?

I’ve been wanting to build another SRT-4 that would beat this and a GT500. Shouldn’t cost more than 15-20k. I doubt anyone would be any more impressed with that. Than the car in this video.:crying:

Assuming Ford didn't underrate the advertised HP............

Seems like a pretty good setup whatever it is. Obviously there is a little more to it though. slicks, weight reduction, drag setup, etc. All else being equal, there is nothing magical about a NA car vs a FI car. Horsepower to weight is what gets it down the track. Doesn't really matter how you're making the power. It has to be around 600 WHP to be trapping 130+.
