First post from me as well.
I ordered last Tuesday the exact car that you have and a mate from work has ordered the same on Sunday !
I guess us Racing Red V8's with black wheels are going to be as common as silver Mondeos out there.
It's going to be a long wait !

I was the first order from my local with that setup! But there's a fair few of the colours which seem quite popular!

Did they say anything to you about expected build etc?

No actual date, no.
In fact my invoice shows Dec 2016 but I'm really hoping that's a worst case scenario !

I guess we just have to be patient.
Looks like our cars will be coming over on the same boat.

Fantastic choice in the S550. That and a Capri is pretty much my ideal double garage! I'm surprised you weren't tempted to go blue for the matching pair!

Ah, the innocence ;)
We found that actual order dates made little or no difference to when Ford actually built/shipped/delivered the cars, though I'm sure it'll be better going forward.

I don't think I'll be passing Race reds on a daily basis let alone that many Mustangs in Teeside.

When I had my M5 I was lucky to see 1 a month.

My 330 M Sport on the other hand saw them daily.

Got rid of that a few months back and got a 1series for DD. See them every time I leave the house.

No Idea mate, i worked them out from the stats we had assuming 3k cars.

GT vs Eb (engine choice) - 70/30 split, there was an 80/20 split as well but I think that was for fastbacks vs verts

Colours;
Race red (around 20%)
Magnetic
Black
DIB
White
Ignot
CO
Ruby Red
Guard (this was def the bottom @ 4%)

If 3000(guess) are sold, on a 70/30 split, that means 900 are ecoboosts,
If 20% of these are race red, that's 180 race red ecoboosts.
If then we use 180 and take 80% of that as the Fastbacks 144 Race Red Ecoboost Fastbacks in the UK
