Hi all,

I have Mach 1 on order through Granger with a mid-November build date. I don't think I want to add a supercharger or a turbo to the car but part of me wants to hit that magic 500hp number. What would be the most cost effective and mechanically efficient way to get such a modest increase?

Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

Buy the 6 speed. Bone stock it makes 460rwhp. That's 500 at the crank.

And happy hunting for the holy grail ................. e85 BTW there are rumors floating, supply problems...

You change the out the suit case, CAI, and soft tune that goes along with it you'll be a happy camper .

HP in not cheap

I assume an e85 tune has some disadvantages?

I guess I should plan to just go big or go home when/if the modding starts.

That isn’t as easy as it sounds. I modded my 2019 Bullitt with a goal of tapping 500 rwhp with bolt on parts. I got close with LTHs, CAI and an E85 tune, but didn’t make it. My car put down 469 rwhp / 434 rwtq with the aforementioned mods. I didn’t stop there though. I installed nitrous and went straight to 639 rwhp / 602 rwtq on a 150 shot with E85. Good luck on your quest and please keep us posted on how things shake out.

LTHs = $1971
CAI = $408
nGauge with tune = $879

Total = $3258
