Welp.. Made it to the track again tonight. Other than the fact they had "Grudge" racing going on and the track kept getting shut down because of fluids or other random shit (rain of all things, for about 2 minutes), it was a pretty decent night. I got there early so the car had about 2 hours to cool down. Between the 2nd and 3rd runs it took me 4 hours to get lined up again.. I was hoping for a halo run on run 3 but the track prep was shit so I had a bunch of wheel spin off the line. They actually had a cone up in the left lane on one side so you weren't in the middle of the lane... It was a PITA..

Temps were in the 70's at first but dropped to about 60 for run 3. DA was around 2300 feet during run 3.

First run I accidently left the shifter in S and I think that hurt me.. The shifts never feel smooth like they do in D.

Second run was about 30 minutes later. Shifted to D this time after the burnout. Had a cone making me launch to the left of the lane, couldn't get traction at all.

Third run I did everything right and couldn't get traction again. Launched the same way I have been and the rear end was squirrely. This was after a 4 hour cool down period. IAT2's were at 117 when I started the car. Had a cone in my way again. This was after oil on the track multiple times and the pissing of rain.

I did have my fastest 60-130mph time tonight at 7.77 seconds.

Still looking for that 10.8 :)

No because he has heated seats.
I've got to admit. Living in AZ I actually like having a heated steering wheel more in the winter than the seats.. It gets hot faster than seats do. If my hands are warm I'm good.. It only ever gets to a low of like 28 here and that's a cold day in hell. (I think I just made a backhanded joke there that doesn't really help my case about AZ).

Solid results in less than ideal conditions! In good air on a well prepped track you would easily get that 10.8. If you lived in the East and ran in that mineshaft air that Stymee was always waiting for, you would run 10.5.

Yes I got mine in July. They came out with the new Heat Exhanger in May of this year (per roush) and that’s when they included it in the kit. It’s much thicker. It literally runs cool To the touch. CHTs never go over 220 and I floor it every chance I get. Which means I average 16mpg now. I go from 70-140mph In what seems like secs when I get open road. It’s does have a weird hang at like 125mph but I usually do pulls in sport+ on the highway so I’m sure it’s something in the that particular Mode in the Roush tune. Other than that I’m shocked how quickly I lose track of how fast I’m going. You just don’t have to time to look down before you’re hitting 120mph from normal highway speeds in the A10 with a Roush sc and the new tune.

One thing that surprised me was how the sc screamed (prefer it over the whine of most) like a pregnant woman in labor. It’s loud when you go all out. I can hear it over my exhaust it’s so loud and I have a Roush Axle Back and xpipe. The combination is terrifying. I don’t have to ride people asses. They get out of The way. Now when you are just driving around and not laying into it full out, it’s very quiet.

Edit: Also I never have any reduction in power due to temps after multiple pulls in the 80’s. The new HE is much better. But I live in Michigan not Texas. Roush is also coming out with new phases soon. They wouldn’t say when but that’s what they told me a couple weeks ago.
How did you get the speed limiter removed? My roush tune max speed is 105 and sometimes 107 (makes going to the 1/4 mile track worthless)!

Speed limiter is the same as stock at around 155mph. I think you might have a bug. Have you tried to manually shift when it hangs? That works for all the guys who have the 123mph bug

This is the second time I have heard that someone's car was limited to a speed of other than 155.. The other car was 135 and apparently Roush told the person the dealer set the limiter? (I don't believe this at all)

Do you have a Performance Package car? It's limited to 155. Even after the Roush tune.

Most of the time the speed limiter is set by the tires that are shipped on the car. I agree with Jmtoast... Maybe it's a bug.

Oh Man, The limit bug again.
If you go back several pages, this has been covered over many pages.
There is a lot of good information on it, but may be hard to find due to this thread being longer than the Grapes of Wrath.

Go to the dealer and get the calibration update, that's all you need.
