That 3.1 sounds awesome if Roush does it, but they got to go to an inverted blower for cooling and step up their game.
What would be awesome...is to offer a head unit upgrade when the 3.1 comes out, and hopefully they learned from the previous flaws lol.

Well I wasn't referring to a fix, just would like to be able to buy a better head unit only and not have to buy a whole other kit again.

The biggest issue is the intercooler in the lower manifold

From all the tuning data on don’s car the phase 2 heat exchanger does ok as long as it’s not crazy hot.

It recovers pretty well also.

Imo it fixes things enough to not “need” a killer chiller.

For those that don’t have it, phase 2 is the best bang for your buck to make a terrible kit not terrible.

Custom tuning with the phase 2 is the next

And a cheap E85 injector/pump/bap combo is the next

Don will tell you it’s like a different car...

I don’t think the 2.65 Eaton is the Achilles heel of the system. Edelbrock, vmp, and even the Ford uses the same rotor pack and gt500’s are making some insane power with it. Plus if they did offer it the upgrade would probably almost the price of an entire kit.

He’s right. It’s doesn’t feel like the same car when mash the go pedal.
