See what I can do tonight at the strip. Haven't had DR's for awhile on either car so we shall see. The soup's temp is at 97 right now. I'll have to wait till about 11pm for it to be in the 70's. By 8pm she'll be so hot she'll burn the sky and it'll stay in the 90's all night! :p

Welllllll.... It was a good night at the track but it didn't start out that way :) Place was packed because it was the first night they allowed spectators in months. They had a capacity limit and eventually got too full so racers weren't allowed in. (Not that this was bad for me!) It was Saturday night Drift'n'drags and apparently everyone was there to drift instead of drag.. (Speaking of drag, got the car washed in the morning with the family at a Bearded Villains benefit for the Phoenix Children's Hospital and they had partnered with a Drag Queen Nun group... Weird, I know, but sorry I didn't take pictures).

Didn't drive the car all day other than that so I drove to the strip at 4:00 and picked up 2.5 gallons of 100 octane with a little over a quarter tank in the car. Was sitting in line for about 40 minutes with the car off waiting for them to open. Teched the car and it sat for about 30 minutes in that time as the first car in line in the staging lanes.

(all runs at 29PSI on 20" 555RII's)

First run the car had to have been heatsoaked as hell. Was in Drive, Normal, and stalled to about 1800. Had a 1.9 60' and proceeded to run a "less than stock" time.
Normal Mode, TC off (temp was 91 degrees. DA was SOUP)

Second run was 29 minutes later. Stalled to 1800 (temp was 91 degrees)
Drag Mode, TC off

Third run was about an hour and 15 minutes later. I don't know the temp. Drag Mode, TC off. Tried to rev too high for the launch and was spinning at the line before the light turned green. Had to let off throttle cause I was roasting tires.

Fourth run was over 3 hours later because cars broke... Namely a 2020 Corvette with less than 500 miles. He ran a 12.02@120 his first run and then an hour later he launched it and broke an axle. After they towed him off the track a Hellcat broke his diff... That took almost an hour and a half to clean up.

Temp was at 73 degrees in Drag mode with TC off. Did a decent burnout and stalled to about 1500. Car took off like a bat outta hell. My Dragy said my 0-60 was 3.66 seconds. Car did not shift into 7th. I manually shifted before it hung. I may have been too slow because it hung for an eternity and then shifted right before I crossed the line. This run should have been a little quicker otherwise.

Run 4 was my fastest 1/4 mile time ever so I was pleased, even with the shifting issue. My fastest time in my 2018 was 11.37 @ 127mph.

There was an orange 2018 there that had carbon fiber body parts and a huge ass cowled hood. He was running low 11's and hoping for 10's.. I asked him what he had done and it was full bolt on with an E85 tune. He was on a full weight loss diet with NOTHING in the interior. No passenger seat, interior body panels, etc... With the drag pack, he figured he was at 3000lbs without him in it.

There were also a few stock 2019's there running 12.7's all night so I don't feel bad about my stock times. :)

I'll be back in November again with hopefully better numbers.

Last run was solid. Will have better air in November too so times could be looking even better.

Gotta give 420 credit....he shares the good, the bad and the ugly. The last run was solid considering the conditions and the shift issue. I had the same issue trying to manually shift to 7th.....a huge lag.

Low profile 20 inch DRs are not ideal for hard launches with high torque so the 60s do not surprise me.

Even more reason to get a Killer Chiller...
Im thinking hard on this but there is a thread on another forum complaining about refrigerant leaks at the tie-in Tee. Anyone have problems with that? I’m paranoid about Freon leaks. This is a 2018 so it shouldn’t leak anything.

Here you go some are full 1/4 mile i believe the ones that are at 121 mph , 2 passes are actually the pbd but didnt have it in normal mode which I apparently needed to be in so i think the shift points were basically roush phase II , i dont have any real pbd tune passes in yet trying to get to the track most of all these time slips are the phase II roush
